Information for parents and carers

Welcome to our parents' information page. We hope you will find this information useful when supporting your child with their next steps and time at Weston College.

Our focus at Weston College is about ‘careers not courses’ and to help young people build the necessary character, skills and knowledge to achieve their aspirations and goals. We do however recognise that along the way some of our learners may experience challenges or need support. It is well known that when young people, parents and carers work together our learners will be more successful in their personal journeys.

The below will provide you with a wide range of information and support to help you throughout the various stages of your child’s journey with us at Weston College.

A parent's view

"During his final year of school, my son was totally undecided whether to remain at sixth form or move on to college.

"However, after visiting Weston College for an open evening made the decision easy. We received some fantastic advice and guidance on the courses and subjects available and were immediately impressed with the facilities.

"The entire process of choosing and applying for courses and enrolling was made simple and completely hassle-free - which really put our mind at rest as parents.

"My son thoroughly enjoys going to College every day and also gets involved in a number of activities that are also available. It's a decision he hasn't regretted for a second."
